Dokyu: pRO as a Business
pRO is not just a game for players, but can also be a Business. Theres a lot of people saying that RO is going down, a BIG NO. for that. Most of RO’s first players are starting to come back, with enough materials, skill and knowledge about RO, They can easily make RO their Business.
First year @ RO, When i had my first year in RO, I quited it, Why? Because of bots. People started quitting too, but others literally cant, cause it is already the game that feed him/her or his/her family.
This is the question that i always hear in early bot era… @$*@**#!, Wala bang ginagawa GM sa mga Bot? Even if they wanted to, the cant, why? They don’t have enough Staff to solve the situation back then.
I had this conversation last week…
Someone: Naglalaro ka ulit ng pRO?
Me: Uu bakit?
Someone: Bur*ot naman mga GM dun eh…
Me: Hindi naman lahat.
Its been a misunderstanding that led people to hatred… and sadly, GMs in earlier days didnt make a solution for that…
Types of pRO’s Business:
Mass Farming: There are these people who make Character”s” for farming, not just Farming… but MASS Farming. They used their farmed items usually for WoE Supplies and Bot Supplies.
Botting Service: Have you seen these vends “BOTTING SERVICE! PM: **** @ YM”, “24/7 SERV [YM ********]” and “50m/week SERVICE READ MY NAME”? Much said.
Scamming: Yes, Scamming is a business… in early RO days, i already seen lots of crime personally, The “Selling Muffler Phenomenon” wherein the people who is selling Immune Muff or so, they put just MUFFLER rather than Immune Muff.
And i myself, is already a victim of a “Deal Hack”, wherein the person will “magically?” trade you and the items you’ve shown him/her will be gone.
Buffs Service: This is a “BOT” that will automatically buffs you when you deal him the proper price, for example; you see a pub “Buffs Service | 500k” in PVP, You will deal him the 500k and he will automatically invite you to his party then you will be buffs by his partymates which are bots also.
Buying and Selling: I am currently doing this for years, not just in RO but in any other MMORPG also.
Upgrading: I do this also, this is a business where you buy lots of slotted ek ek, for example Boots [1] then you also buy Eluniums and Upgrade it to your desire amount.
Pharmacy, Brewery and Elemental Converter: This is a business where you make a “Pure or not so pure brewer/forger/elementalist”, Then you buy the enough materials and bot it to make Elemental Converters/Elemental Weapon/Pots.
